Amaani Oluwa's debut solo exhibition exploring childhood and celebrating the children of today, through photography highlighting the importance of play, self-discovery and imagination.

‘I’m Just a Kid’ came from a phrase I often have said to others when describing my work, because art doesn’t need to be in a box. Being a kid combines limitless curiosity, unfiltered imagination, and pure unguarded emotion. Their innate creativity manifests into play, storytelling and the ability to find magic in the mundane. I can be my child-like self when playing with my camera as I work with a free mind and translate ideas into art. My photography is my form of play.
